The Grey Curse was cast along time ago. Not only does it dim natural light, it creates eternal night inside the city of Ur'Dhal. Anyone who dies in The Grey Expanse will turn into either a zombie or skeleton. In the case of the skeleton, the bones will erupt from the body and walk around.
