Thrururin The Eternal Kingdom
This ancient Kingdom bears the name of it's undying ruler: Thrurun. An immortal Dwarf who's name and legacy is known across the entire continent of Castordia. Over the course of thousands of years he has ruled, and fought, and supported his close-walled kingdom.
Few leave this place, and fewer still may enter. Trade is limited by the hostile borders, necromancers and villainy are commonplace on it's southern border, whilst the land's western face meets the Empire of Okan (with which an uneasy peace is currently being negotiated).
Dwarves who manage to reach this kingdom, often do so as a pilgrimage to see halls of the great eternal Kingdom, said to have been sculpted by masters unknown to the outside world.
Structure
The Kingdom is ruled almost solely by Thrurun and the numerous councils of which he is a member.
Council of guilds, The Open courts, The Closed courts, The Council of Philosophers, and his hand picked private council.
Notable amongst these is the open court, where any issue may be raised by the public through petition, longstanding issues move periodically to the closed court to later be presented to one of the councils.
Assets
Silver is the most valued metal in the kingdom, gold although common is a cursed metal here known for attracting dragons. Most things one could want mined out built can be found in this kingdom, even gunpowder may be found here. Goats are the most common livestock.
History
This Kingdom is one that has been in place since time immemorial, and has slowly begun to become more isolated over time.
Within the kingdom Ages are measured by the stylings of Thrurun's beard, e.g. "The age of long braids" or "The forked years"
Most notable events in their external history relate to wars with the Empire of Okan

Currency
Being a kingdom spanning 1000s of years, several currency revisions have taken place (Most recently 100 years ago). Outsiders may find themselves being paid in old coin from mysterious coffers. Neighbouring Okanese currency will be accepted with only with suspicion and accusations of being a spy. Thankfully most metals and stones can be traded in this Dwarven economy, thus avoiding either problem.
