Kinnara

The Kinnara are the children of El Rabee, the Black Ox. It is said that El Rabee was too busy drinking in the sun while the other Gods made their children. Realizing he had used up most of his time, he rushed and created a miraculous hodgepodge of traits he found favorable.
Thus, the Kinnara came to be. They were a race of tall, lithe, humanoids that shared traits of bats and foxes, oddly with the wings resembling those of a butterfly. Their strange form and snow-white form earned them the tittle as the 'moth people'.
Due to their laid back nature, the Kinnara formed a strong society that easily repelled those who threatened them in the old world. While considered the 'last race' by the Amukreen, they excelled in the arts, science, and magic, building monuments that would stand the test of time. They formed a mercantile empire reminiscent of modern Xhalandar, albeit less corrupted by greed. They happily worked as diplomats and advisors to other races.
However, their homeland would become the arrival point of the Invaders. What is now modern day Xhalandar, Dath, and Xiang Feng was once their domain. They are the ones who built the Golden Cities of Xhalandar.
Today they are few in numbers, the last remnants of their race living with Thanh at the roof of the world.
