Kǫ

The Kǫ are an herbivorous species, evolved from elk. Their native language is usually Navajo. Because of their deep connection with flora, Kǫ’s Native Element is Fire. Thus their Opposed Element is Water.
They are an extremely passionate people, caring deeply about their own personal freedoms. They can sometimes be seen as impulsive or selfish, as they try to live in the moment. Many of the Kǫ buck these misconceptions, striving for social change to better protect the freedoms they so value.

Average Physique

The hallmark trait of Kǫ are their antlers. These are not shed naturally, and their size marks the maturity of a Kǫ. If damaged, the antlers will regrow, initially coming in with a soft velvet which falls away with time to reveal the bone. Many Kǫ choose to adorn their antlers with thread, colored beads, or feathers. Occasionally, some will even carve them, imbuing magic into them similar to tattoos or scarification. Their shape may also be guided over time with wire.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

Kǫ typically have skin tones ranging in shades of brown or copper. Their hair is slightly more varied, with golden, brown, and black hues most common, but any individual may also dye it to their desired color. Youthful Kǫ will often choose to dye their hair in shades similar to flower petals. Their eyes are usually black, yellow, or orange.
