History

The beautiful port city of Necen Acal was originally settled by Man'tlalli in 1086 AN, with colonists from Shandiin and Sunton migrating to the lush shore. To support the costs of the colony, Man'tlalli sold bonds to corporate investors, which gave provincial government control to the corporations.
As corporations siphoned tax revenue while cutting regulations and taxes on themselves, conditions within the city deteriorated. Soon every aspect of life was controlled by the employer, from corporate housing to company stores.
Tensions rose as the abuses, taxation, and supply shortages swelled. And in 1226 AN, a clothing factory burned down with child workers locked inside. Riots erupted with industry oligarchs dragged into the streets and beheaded.
This state of turmoil persisted for several decades, with several opportunists filling the vacuum of the one before. It has finally settled into a state of quiet optimism.
Though Man'tlalli still claims ownership of Necen Acal, they are currently completely independently governed.

Tourism

It's bioluminescent beaches are a major draw for visitors to the city.

Influenced by neighbor Shátah's Wayo Kenchiku architectural style.

Geography

Situated along the edge of the Tahuaroa sea. This port city is ideally located for traffic from Astoria Aorere, Shátah, and trade along the Pankhn'de River.

Climate

Located just north of the equator, Necen Acal boasts tropical weather all year round.
