Haven (Hay-Vin)

Haven was a small village that was set in the woods North of Stifield. It was a refuge for people with mixed ancestory to feel safe and have a place to belong. And it stayed as such right up until the destruction of the village and its people and a barbaric raid by bandits. The village did not survive the onslaught and it is said that only two people survived the raid. One of those people being Shamos. Tharon who also survived the destruction of Haven, passed in the year 885 E.A. Shamos is now the only survivor from that bleak day.

Demographics

The village was comprised mostly of Half-elves with other races not knowing of the location of the village for fear of destruction from the Kingdoms ruled by those races.

Government

The village was self sustained and did not have a ruling class. The closest thing that it had to a leader was the elders in the village met to make decisions to better the settlement while still maintaining the secrecy behind it.

History

Other than the founding of the village to keep mixed heritage people safe, it only has one notable event that it would be remembered for and primarily only to one individual. The villages destruction and the slaughter of the people that lived there. The only one that this has any meaning to is Shamos who was present for the destruction of the place that he called home.

Tourism

The only way to locate the village on with intent was to be connected to it and shown the way by a network

Architecture

The buildings had primarily Elven influence due to the crafters being from the Eleven Kingdoms and only coming to the village to protect their families that had human linage as well.

Geography

The village being located in the forrest and having no clear path to it is what kept the village hidden for as long as it did.

Natural Resources

The only natural resources that were available to the village were what the village provided. But the knowledge of the villagers made that enough for them to survive in the forrest and to keep away from the sight of others without having to trade with the other towns.
