Iriemore

Iriemore is the Port city for the Eastern Ocean that boarders the Kingdom of Tirine. Iriemore was built to have easier Sea based access to Nanderthon and Ellon along with the resources that can only be found in the Eastern territories of Oriand. Iriemore is a sister city to Haston and was set up in a similar manner with some new improvements that were made during construction.

Demographics

Like Haston you will find just about every race within the city, but the main population is considered to be human. The diversity comes from the merchants who have decided to make the city their residence along with the craftsmen that hav settled here.

Government

With a lower population the taxes are not as high as what they are in Haston. However, individual shops are taxed at 15% of their annual income with 20% of the 15 going to the crown in the Capital city, Thallior. The remaining portions that stay in the city are used for expansion and general improvement of the city along with the expenses for city officials.

Defences

The terrain around the city was altered to construct a moat around the city. The city walls are 2 feet thick with a drawbridge to gain access to the city. The city only has one gate. This does cause longer wait times to get into the city but lowers the number of guards needed on the gate. The Walls were built taller for Iriemore than they were for Haston due to improvments in the understanding of building between the timeframes of construction. The walls extend all the way to the sea on each side of the city.
