Celenia

A place of wonder, Magic, and Light is... The exact opposite of this hellhole. Long before this though the land of celenia was peaceful, Serene even. An ancient entity known simply as, The Architect, had created this land long ago. he made The entire world with Celenia as its center, however, the seas of this world are too dangerous for most travel, therefore, only a few other places are known about by the common folk. In the beginning, Celenia was ruled by many different deities, but all that changed 200 thousand years after humanoids' formation. Devils and demons from the 9 planes of hell raised up to Celenia's surface, waging war on the people and Gods of the land. most gods were destroyed, and some escaped and disguised themselves as regular people in celenia, the rest, reside in their own impenetrable pocket dimensions. While the hellspawn managed to take out the gods, The people of Celenia fought them back to the hells, Sealing them away. The Architect could not foresee this war and locked each of the Arch devils of the hells away in some form. The architect could not handle the chaos and eventually made a physical marking of his form on Celenia called the Cave of foresight. He would Engrave the walls of the cave with prophecies of years yet to come, however with this cave, came a cost, If a mortal were to enter this cave, they would have their soul bound to one of these prophecies. another 100 thousand years passed normally enough until a Large Dragon made of pure obsidian was flung out of his world, and traveled the Outer worlds, Heading right towards Celenia. He would arrive in 100 thousand years. the yuan-ti tribes of Celenia somehow contacted This dragon, learning his name, Orandian. He was coming to celenia in order to absorb the immense power emanating from the world, destroying it in the process. The Architect couldn't let that happen, so he carved the first Prophecy of Celenia "The Nine Heros." The Prophecy told that when Orandian would arrive, 9 Heros would rise, rid themselves of their Burdens and Destroy Orandian once and for all. However, 50 thousand years before that would happen, a group of adventurers stumbled upon the cave of foresight, carving their own prophecy, to destroy Orandian as well. The architect was furious, Celenia was now transported closer to Orandian and the nine heroes hadn't Risen yet. He realized a loophole, in the prophecy of the "Accidental prophets," the prophecy only said that they would Stand up against Orandian, Not kill him. He finished the prophecy by making it so the group would only lock Orandian out of Celenias's realm using an Artifact, The Obsidian key. They managed to do this, locking Orandian out until 9 heroes were at their full strength. The nine heroes vanquished the obsidian horror, saving Celenia and all its people...For now
