The Stormgate

A dimensional tear to the Plane of Storms linking Stormvale (the North Gate) and Whirlpool (the South Gate). Within the Plane, it is a simple, slightly uneven rocky 'path' floating in constant heavy rainfall and ~50mph winds. Small, floating satellite islands can be seen to either side, but tend to be barren of any life.
The Stormgate is an extreme example of how space isn't mapped 1:1 between planes.
