Dwarves

The dwarves of Chrysantia, known as the Sand Dwarves, are masters of stone and sand, with their fortresses carved into the sides of mountains. They have a tense relationship with the other races due to their strict isolationist policies and devout reverence for Mortifera.
Dwarves need isolation for their culture to flourish, as well as access to the rich mineral veins of Chrysantia's mountains. They also require respect from other races for their boundaries and traditions. Dwarves typically view other races as intrusive, lacking the discipline and respect for the balance between life and death.
