This is one scary creature!! I love the descriptions in here, and the Leviathan's crown in particular: the bones of flayed rivers and hearts of lakes is such an abstract and darkly poetic combination. :D
Truth be told I only wrote this part because I need it to have the main text line up with the side panel, so it is great to hear that you liked the description of his Crown :D
'a jagged crown made from the bones of a dozen flayed rivers and the hearts of a hundred lakes.' *chef's kiss*
What a terrifying snake. I'm kind of glad he doesn't have his own religious texts because I imagine that they would be horrifying.
Great article :D
Happy to hear that Emy ^_^
So I guess my mission for the rest of the week will then be to write about the other Dragon-Gods (Chol, Behemot, Scylla & Charybdis) Let's see what fancy assessors I can cook up for them :D
I loooved all of the descriptions related to the salt, especially all of the sections in the sidebar! (Also I love that the gods are of Salt, Sulfur and Mercury, it sounds so cooool)
Hey Naelin, great to hear that :D
The reason why I chose those particular elements is that Mercury, Sulfur, and Salt are the three primary elements of Alchemy (the Tria Prima) according to Paracelsus.
Sweet lord, that is one powerful beast ! I've got to use that. Also, I know I'll come out looking as a grammar nazi ( wich might be true ), but you forgot the e at tremendous, ninth line. Why it bothers me so much is probably because the article is amazing, and ummm... Look out, Fundamental Salt !
Happy to hear that :D
And yes Leviathan certainly is one powerful being, yet funnily enough, he and his siblings Chol and Behemoth are all just LESSER Dragon-Gods, so they are by far not at the top of the divine hierarchy in Cenorad ^^
Also, I took care of the writing error thanks for pointing it out :)
