Sab'l Rué
Cotoir, stop fighting with Bue'rie...Hey, Sébéntla, yes I am talking to you, give Ptèreya back her sandstone figure...And Voiturie would you please... ~ Foni'tane, Mayor and "Big Sis" of Sab'l RuéWhile it is commonly said that small towns and villages have their very own charming personality, Sab'l Rué or "Trouble Town" as it is nowadays called, has not one, not two but a total of 28 different personalities. For this old and long-abandoned trading post originally located somewhere within the white dunes of the Sizhi Desert, is in so far unique as that a total of 28 out of its 31 buildings gave rise to a Mecamii following their slow erosion under the sandy bite of the unrelenting desert winds. Due to its extraordinary high Mecamii manifestation rate, Sab'l Rué is so far the only settlement in Cenorad that can claim to have been quite literally "reborn" after its initial destruction.
Government
You have no idea how difficult it is to baby-sit an entire village.Like any other commune of Mecamii Sab'l Rué, is governed via majority-rule, with every decision affecting the future of the "town" being decided upon by its 28 "inhabitants". Given that the Mecamii which make up Sab'l Rué are essentially siblings these discussions are usually quite a bit more chaotic and turbulent than the ones held within other communes. Because of this, Foni'tane, the oldest and strongest Mecamii, which manifested from the former settlements well and official "Mayor" of Sab'l Rué frequently had to make use of her arcane authority in order to keep her brothers and sisters in check. With the settlement integration into the Republic of Mâché, her job has become substantially more easy, given that most of the administrative and governmental tasks are now taken care of by the Republic's current Elector Count and his cabinet of Vice Counts.
Defences
After having given rise to over two dozens Mecamii, Sab'l Rué has essentially become one of the most well-fortified "ghost towns" in all of Cenorad.
As, unlike most other towns that have been abandoned by their inhabitants Sab'l Rué now sports a truly impressive and intelligent defense mechanism, composed of the Mecamii themselves, whose Ruin Paper clad bodies are far more resilient than the walls of the settlement's former buildings could have ever hoped to be.
Additionally, the "town" or more accurately the Mecamii collective that it gave rise to, is now also able to make use of the Mecamii's own type of arcane power, known as the Art of "Tweet".
History
An unremarkable town in a sea of sandy nothingness, is still great enough to be worthy of a requiem.Little is known about the history of the old Sab'l Rué, apart from the fact that it served as the last stop and resting place for traders that prepared to make the treacherous passage through the Sizhi Desert. And without these traders or more exactly their tradition to carve their names and "Last Wishes" into the town's buildings, this would have been the end of the town's story, once it was abandoned following the attack of a ferocious desert beast, whose toxic saliva irreversibly poisoned the town's central water source. Yet thanks to the trader's messages the otherwise unremarkable, clay buildings possessed enough residual beauty and cultural value for their gradual erosion to facilitate the manifestation of "Glaive"-type Mecamii.

Tourism
Visit Sab'l Rué, before they deciede to visit your town.Due to its unique situation, Sab'l Rué is certainly the only town in Cenorad which is able to engage in what is essential "reverse-tourism", with the town being able to visit other people's home instead of being visited by them. Especially many of the "younger" Mecamii that were manifested from the buildings at the town's outskirts really like to explore other ruined towns and settlements in the hope of encountering a newly manifested Mecamii playmate.
Architecture
Given the Mecamii's innate shapeshifting capabilities the architecture of the modern Sab'l Rué, has more in common with a bizarre piece of art than an actual, functioning town.
Nevertheless, when resting many of the town's current inhabitants unconsciously take on the vague appearance of the building, which they have been spawned from.
