Medon

Overseer of Purgatory

She is the decider of fates   Watching those who claim no god or devil   If one may fall into her merciless hands   May kin pray for her favor   The god who sees no sun   Ever lamenting with inconceivable sorrow   She awaits the unknown   Tears forever flooding her domain   She sits, she sorrows, she waits   She sits, she sorrows, she waits

Medon is the overseer of purgatory and the only god to never be seen by mortals. She takes in the souls of those that have passed and sends them off accordingly, as she can see into one's soul and gauge their spirit. If one was pledged to a god and remained in their good favor, she would send them to their domain. Demon worshipers are treated the same, with their deities taking them in (except in the case of Hezyss who does not accept "followers" souls). Minor deity worshipers may find themselves in limbo, as it seems minor deities are far pickier about who they allow into their domain for all eternity.   Those who do not follow a god or demon (or have fallen out of their good graces) are entirely judged by Medon herself, though she does not send them to any particular domain. Rather, she will decide whether your soul should be given to the gods, where one will (hopefully eventually) take you, or if you will be handed over to the demon lords. Those who she deems truly neutral will remain in purgatory until either side decides to take them.   Medon has no worshipers, doctrine, or known appearance - and the gods have actively worked to keep it this way. All that is known about her from the gods' account is that she resides in the veil between Centaria and hell and that she mourns deeply for reasons unknown.
