Domain of Fire

The Domain of Fire is a volatile and dangerous place, filled with searing heat and flames that can reach unimaginable temperatures. The very air is thick with smoke and ash, and the ground is scorched and blackened by the intense heat. Despite its small size, the Domain of Fire holds a great power, one that can bring life or destruction depending on its mood. Its light can nourish the land and bring forth new growth, but its flames can also destroy entire forests and towns in a single blast of heat.   The Domain of Fire is home to powerful fire elementals, such as Efreet, salamanders and other fiery beings, who are able to withstand the intense heat and thrive in this dangerous realm. Traveling to the Domain of Fire is not for the faint of heart, as only the bravest and most skilled adventurers dare to brave its scorching heat and face the challenges that lie within.   At the heart of the Domain of Fire lies the ancient artifact known as the Sunfire Orb. This mysterious object is said to be infused with the very essence of the fire plane itself, and its power is said to be almost unimaginable. It is said that those who wield the Sunfire Orb are imbued with the ability to control and shape the flames of the domain, to create and destroy at will. It was first seen used by The Starcatcher Observatory on Zephyr, when a colossal aberration much larger than the domain attempted to consume the Domain of Fire in it's maw. As the long row of fangs broke into the flames, a large column of flame was sent down the planet-eater's throat and continued until it was seen exiting the aberration.   The Sunfire Orb is said to be guarded by powerful fire elementals, who are sworn to protect it from all who would seek to abuse its power. It is a coveted object, sought by many who would use its power for their own gain, and it is said that those who seek to possess it must be prepared to face the wrath of the elementals who guard it.
