Kelbis Glitterbottom
Kelbis Glitterbottom is a gnome wizard with a sharp mind and an even sharper sense of greed. He is always looking for ways to make a quick buck, and he is not above using underhanded tactics or even outright deception to achieve his goals. He is a skilled businessman and investor, with a talent for spotting opportunities and maximizing his profits. He sought the potential for wealth and power in the Cubic Gate, and he is willing to do whatever it takes to get his hands on it. Kelbis is sly and untrustworthy, and he is not above betraying his allies if it means advancing his own interests.
Kelbis's project for the Innovations Unleashed fair is a new type of financial investment product. He has been working on a prototype of a magical crystal that can replicate itself and generate wealth for its owner. Kelbis is hoping that the magical crystal will be a hit with the judges and investors at the fair, and he is hoping that it will be the first step towards his becoming a successful businessman and investor. The crystal replicates itself by leaving 25 gp with it at dawn, should this occur the orb will replicate itself. Kelbis reasons that this means the orb is worth 25gp and therefore is worth more than 25gp by it's possibility to duplicate exponentially. Since it's value increases with the expected value per orb, he reasons that the orb has infinite value.
