Adro

The Mansrath Forest on Efren is a mysterious place. Mansrath forest is the boarders of the three kingdoms, Aeqular, Zakido, and Slirene on Efren. There is an agreement that the villages bordering said forest can use the resources there but the exploration of the forest is not allowed at this time. While the three kingdoms know of the Uskarans that use to reside on their island they fully believe that they have discovered all their previous settlements. However, nestled deep in the Mansrath Forest lies another lost settlement. There are tales from the villages near the forest that are in the Slirene kingdom. There are about ten or so older elves that in their youth disobeyed their elders and went exploring in Mansrath. This sent the two close villages into a frenzy as several of their young had disappeared for about two weeks.   What these older elves will tell you is what many just chalk up to a fantasy tale to get them out of trouble. However, each one still can perfectly recall what they did and saw while they were exploring the Mansrath.   This is their tale. They traveled deep into the woods and found a paved path deeper into the forest. They followed the path winding through it listening and occasionally seeing the river Graceset they soon passed north of the western rill lake. When the forest opened into a large clearing. Evidence of stone buildings all around with a path leading to the north side of the Broken wall. However, they all said that the clearing while clear of trees was covered by the huge trees that surrounded the area. Some suspected that it was magic that caused the trees to do so. As there was lots of light but also shade. They explored a few of the buildings and found carvings on the stones. One thing that they could read was the name Adro. A few of the older boys suggested that they head back to tell the village about what they found while a few suggested that it was late in the day and they should rest for the night and then head back. What happened next is hard for any of them to say as they are unsure. For the group, they slept that night then got up and returned to their villages the next morning. All got a huge shock in finding that they had been missing for two weeks. When they told their parents and elders what they had seen they were asked to retrace their steps. Only as they did they could not find the paved path it was gone. The elders just shook their heads restating this is why we don’t let younglings into Mansrath, saying they eat the del-berries and see random stuff. As a result, no one has gone to see if this settlement is really out there.
