Insults

Through out the world there are many different dialects of the four major languages. On the continent of Nucrana the elves have developed some of the more ways to insult each other. This is partly due to the broken faction between the two republics there. Here are the most common ones.
Smelagus- comes from a phrase meaning foul smelling food or area. Calling some this is saying that they are full of a smelly substance and is highly used between the two different republics in the politics. Those not highly entranced in the politics just use it in meaning those are full of smelly stuff.
Hellkite - it means a bird from Hell or the underworld. To call some one a hellkite is to imply that they are cruel, wicked, and known to use people.
Cullion- it means testicles. Calling someone a cullion is implying that that they are vile and uncultured. This is also used a lot between the two groups.
Lickspittle- comes from a phrase that means to do a repulsive act. Calling a person this is saying they are repulsive or act repulsive.
Losel- meaning lost. worthless or scoundrel, or just lost. Many use this when talking about politics and the other person doesn’t have a strong opinion on the matter. Some take it when the other doesn’t hold their same opinion also. Snollygoster- some one who is unprincipled, who will do anything to get their way. A lot of the politicians get called this, especially if they have been doing it all their adult lives.
Nigmerey- is silly, it is most commonly used among friends in a joking manner.
Poltroon- fool or a foolish decisions or ideas. Poltroon is also used frequently with friends when their ideas are dangerous, stupid or wild.
Abydocomist- a lier or some who spreads falsehoods. Bedspawler- an harlot, adulterer, or also some who chases several romantic interests at one time with no clear intent.
Dorbel- some one who is picky and demanding.
Driggle-draggle- some one who is untidy, unkempt, or live in unclean places.
Whaffle- someone who can’t make decisions.
Yaldsen- a son of a prostitute or sex slave.
Zoilist- is one who is overly critical of everyone and nothing is ever right. It is not to be confused with dorbel, which just mean someone who is demanding or picky. One can be both a zoilist and dorbel or just one.
