Kamlilta brithday celebrations

The Kamlilta clan celebrate their birthdays every five years. The first big celebration is when they reach five. In the fifth celebration all family members and friends are invited. The one being celebrated is given their proper name and are finally able to wear the town/village/city colors.
The next several birthdays are noted with a small celebration with either just family or friends. Once they reach their 100 birthday there is once again a huge celebration. This celebration last one week. There are parties, food and a gift of either a necklace for females or a bracelet for men that contains an Age stone. It is a special stone that changes as the person wears it.
After the 100 birthday they continue to do the small birthday every five years. Most of these celebrations are only with immediate family, occasionally other family members. These celebrations are quieter with food, and a few games. No gifts.
From then on every 100 years is a huge celebration. Each birthday has a different gift that is given. The gift list differs from each town, village or city. Many shifters live and die in the same place so it doesn’t really cause problems but some times there is a shifter that is mated to another shifter from a different town, village, city so they look at the lists to give their mate the gift they would be expecting. Also in some of the younger generation just look at all the lists, that has been posted at the main hall, and pull what they want from there. A lot of the elders look down on this practice. So the fist two major celebrations do not change but the later ones are changing slowly.

History

In ancient times not all shifters would make it to their fifth year so many parents started not celebrating their children's birthdays until they were five. After a few generations all of the Kamlilta started just celebrating their birthdays every five years.

Execution

Most are done with in families except for big celebrations which include most of the village or town. Occasionally they travel to Montnau for the biggest celebrations. Such as when reach 100.
