Muka's Healing Doors

Muka’s Healing Doors is the city of Muka’s place of healing that is well know by the those in the hills and southern area of Laflinton. Also to the frequent tradesmen that come through the Mukan harbor. It was on of the first buildings to be build by and into the hillside that at the time was above where Mukan harbor is. Many Mukans will tell you that it was one of the first permanent stone buildings in the city. The stone building, which looks more like a huge gate house with large windows to let in light. The stone doors are 120 feet high and have a carved Terellas fish above it. The building stretches two-hundred feet each side of the door. And is about 100 feet deep before disappearing into the hill. There are many carvings on the sides and around many windows. The inside is also well decorated with carvings and paintings to cheer those that come. Along each wall close to the ceiling is a scrolling script of an ancient Laflinton kingdom that was known for their great medics and healers. The writing is prayers of healing. Many think that all they see sticking out of the hill is the whole building. However they are wrong, it is deceptive as the front of the building is only part of it. The Mukans have build deep into the hill. There are many rooms and wings that treat different disease, illness and other medical issues. Once you walk though the giant doors there is a big square room that has many desks and signs directing you where to go. This has many medics and medic helpers doing triage and escorting patients to where they need to go. There is also a long desk off to the left that is for those that wish to visit those that are in the healing doors as the Mukans call it. As you walk further in one would think that it would be dark the further you go into the hill but the builders found ways to guide natural light in along with the use of magic to lite it. There are a few hallways are that way to deal with illnesses that are light sensitive.
