Pavv

Pavv is a mining town that started by a five miners who discovered a cave near their camp while they were looking for other minerals near a mountain range on Lafliuton. They were about to give up as they had spent a month out there finding nothing. It wasn’t until one went exploring up on the mountain that the found that this cave had Flying Hematite, aka shinny hematite just hanging around the entrance. He went back to his group and showed them what he had found. He showed them the cave. They decided that three went back into the closest town which was a week away to see how much it would sell for. They left two behind to gather more and see what else was around. The two that they had left found several caves that lead into the mountains all filled with the flying hematite. When they arrived back the other three were surprised at what the two had found. They decided that this was more than they could do on their own so with the help of a relative they created the mining company called Pavv Extracts Mining. It took about 10 years for a little settlement of miners, and those to support the miners to be built. During this time they found that Flying Hematite in abundance there were also a few other minerals that could easily be mined at the same time.
Sadly the growth and ability to get the minerals out and to market was difficult for many years until they were able to improve and speed up the travel time between Pavv and the nearest town. Once this happened they were able to grow their town. Pavv became well know for the mines but also for its beauty sitting at the foot of mountains, that many like to hike or explore. There are many trails, lakes, waterfalls, and ruins on top of the mountain. Because of this Pavv has become a jumping off point for them as it is easy access and great place for refueling for long trips.
