Champions often train for years, mastering both the sword and the scroll. They typically train within a religious organization, in a cloister. Sometimes monks and champions share training grounds, though the fighting styles of the two professions are very different.

Champions are often exalted. Some harbor animosity to these paragons, though, whether from jealousy, feelings of inadequacy, or scarring experiences with some of the cruel bad apples who defame the profession.
