Week 1: Goal Setting
This year I will be participating in WorldEmber with the goal of polishing up my Kingdom Earth world. I will begin publishing a massive series set in that world in 2024, so I want to make sure the bonus content I will be giving readers is current and complete. I expect this to involve writing at least 10k new words, though I will also be editing and polishing older articles at the same time that won't count toward the challenge.
Week 2: Meta
I don't feel like this week's tasks are relevant to my goals, personally. The scope of my project has already been stated. I will be completing everything within my world prior to publishing my new series in 2024. I will most likely be keeping the current categories I'm using in my Kingdom Earth world.
Week 3: Welcome Your Readers
I recently updated my homepage with a note that I'm heavily editing my current world to avoid any confusion about why content feels incomplete or in need of editing. Once everything is finished, prior to the release of my Angelic Blood Series next year, I am going to have a betetr introduction of the world and the purpose of the page (to provide background bonus content to readers of the series), as well as book covers and links to the books themselves for potential readers.
Week 4: Last Minute Prep
Before WorldEmber starts I need to get more of my current pages edited, since those won't count toward the challenge. It's still important that I get my world polished before my new book series begins to publish, so editing the old pages still needs to be an ongoing project.
