Abyssal Whispers of the Nethermind

Abyssal Whispers of the Nethermind 7th-level enchantment Casting Time: 1 action Range: 30 feet Components: V, S, M (a piece of parchment inscribed with runes in abyssal ink) Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
This spell opens a conduit to the Abyss, allowing the insidious whispers of its denizens to seep into the minds of your foes. You target up to four creatures of your choice that you can see within range. Each target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the target is ensnared by the abyssal whispers, suffering the following effects:
Mental Fracture: The target’s mind is bombarded with horrifying visions and incomprehensible secrets. The target has disadvantage on all ability checks and saving throws that use Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma.
Abyssal Paranoia: Each turn, on a failed save, the affected creature perceives one of its allies as a treacherous enemy, compelling it to use its action to make a melee or ranged attack against that ally.
Whispers of the Void: At the start of each of the caster's turns, an affected target hears maddening whispers. It must make a Wisdom saving throw or take 2d8 psychic damage. On a successful save, the damage is halved.
Each affected creature can make a Wisdom saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effects on itself with a successful save. However, the mental scars linger; a creature that successfully saves is shaken and has disadvantage on its next attack roll, ability check, or saving throw.
Additionally, while maintaining concentration on this spell, you can use a bonus action on your turn to intensify the abyssal whispers for one target, forcing it to immediately make a melee or ranged attack against a creature you designate.
If concentration is broken, the voices fade, but the paranoia induced by the whispers causes all affected targets to be frightened for one round as they struggle to discern reality from the lingering echoes of the Abyss.
  Classes: Warlock, Sorcerer, Wizard
