Canis Kin

Canis Kin Medium humanoid beastkin
They vary in personal appearance as much as different dog, wolf, and other canis breeds. They are on the large side of medium sized humanoid creatures and have canine heads.
Origin. In the time after the fall of the Great Orc Empire and the cataclysm its fall unleashed, there lived a pooka vassal to an archfey lord. The pooka fell in love with a moon elf guardian of a sacred site her lord desired. This site contained a moonbridge that would allow the archfey entry into the material plane. She performed the ritual for her lord to gain her freedom and he gave her the choice of freedom or the life of her newfound love. She chose love and served him as he began to conquer the human kingdoms claiming territory. His rein was terrible and cut short with the rise of new horrors and a timely betrayal organized by the pooka and her moon elf love. The lord tried to curse them with his dying breath but was already too overtaxed to defeat the protection charms they wore. Instead it changed the already pregnant pooka in ways unseen until she gave birth. She gave birth to nine unique children. These children were the first feline folk and canis kin. From them these races came to be. The first ones were born nine thousand years ago.
Ability score. +1 Strength, +1 Wisdom, +1 to any one ability score.
Keen Senses. You gain advantage on perception checks relying on sound and smell. Also on survival checks for the purposes of tracking and hunting. In addition you have Darkvision 60.
Regeneration. You heal 1+Constitution Bonus in HP every minute as long as you are not at zero HP and fail three death saves. If you take radiant damage from moonlight or damage from a silver weapon then your regeneration turns off for a number of minutes equal to the damage taken.
Tough as nails. You have a Damage Threshold equal to your Constitution bonus. You ignore any damage that doesn't exceed your damage threshold, and any the first damage that does is reduced by your damage threshold and your damage threshold is suppressed until the start of your next turn. While suppressed, you do not gain the benefit from your Damage Threshold.
Communication with canines. You can communicate with all canines that have an Intelligence score of 3 or greater at will. This doesn't make them like you or able to know what they don't know. You do get advantage on charisma based checks and insight checks when interacting with canines.
Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift. As an additional aspect of your powerful build, your offhand attacks may add your strength bonus to the damage. And you may use medium creature sized two handed weapons with one hand as finesse weapons if you want.
Intimidating Growl: You may use 5 feet of your movement to make an intimidating growl, roll an intimidation check and all creatures that can hear or see you within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom save versus your check. If successful nothing happens, if they fail they must move away from you for 1d4+Charisma Bonus turns or have disadvantage on anything else they do. This works on any thing with an Intelligence of 3 or more as long as it is not immune to intimidation.
Sentinel of the Border Between Worlds: At level 1 Gain the Shillelagh Cantrip and Gain Misty Step 1/short rest. At level 3 Gain the ability to Misty Step to the astral plane or the ethereal plane within 30 feet of where you started on the material plane. At level 5 gain +1 use/short rest on Misty Step. Gain it again at levels 10, 14, & 18. At level 11 gain the ability to cast the gate spell without material components once + Wisdom bonus times per long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
