Draconic Metamorphosis

Draconic Metamorphosis
Level 5 Transmutation
Casting Time: 1 minute
Range: Self
Components: V, S, M (a dragon scale from an ancient wyrm and a drop of your own blood)
Duration: Up to 1 minute (concentration)
Description: With a guttural chant and a searing pain that courses through your veins, you unleash the hidden draconic potential within your own flesh. Your body writhes and twists as scales erupt from your skin, claws rip from your fingertips, and wings unfurl from your back. For a fleeting moment, you become a vessel of draconic power, a terrifying hybrid of mortal and ancient wyrm.
Draconic Form: While under the effects of this spell, you gain the following benefits:
Draconic Physique: Your Strength score increases by 4, your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 6. You also gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed.
Claws and Fangs: Your unarmed strikes deal 1d8 slashing damage + your Strength modifier. You also gain a bite attack that deals 1d10 piercing damage + your Strength modifier.
Draconic Fury: As an action, you can unleash a fearsome breath weapon. Choose one of the following types of damage: fire, acid, lightning, or cold. Each creature within a 30-foot cone in front of you must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 8d6 damage of the chosen type and is pushed 10 feet away from you. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and is not pushed.
Draconic Rage: As a bonus action, you can enter a draconic rage. While raging, you have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws, and you are resistant to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. However, you also have disadvantage on Dexterity checks and saving throws, and you cannot cast spells. Your rage lasts for 1 minute, until you are knocked unconscious, or until you dismiss it as a bonus action.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the Draconic Fury breath weapon deals an additional 2d6 damage of the chosen type for each slot level above 5th.
Classes: Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer, Dragon Knight, School of Transmutation Wizard
Lore: Whispered of only in the draconic archives of ancient libraries and whispered around crackling campfires, Draconic Metamorphosis is a spell of immense power and terrible risk. It unlocks the primordial draconic heritage within mortals, granting them the strength, ferocity, and devastating breath weapon of a mighty wyrm. However, this transformation comes at a cost, as the draconic rage can consume their mortal mind and leave them teetering on the edge of becoming a fearsome beast without reason. Only the most disciplined and courageous dare to tap into this power, walking the tightrope between mortal and dragon to unleash its devastating potential.
Notes:   This spell offers a dramatic transformation, granting significant stat boosts, powerful attacks, and a devastating breath weapon.
The choice of damage type for the breath weapon adds flexibility and tactical decision-making.
The Draconic Rage ability provides significant offensive and defensive buffs, but at the cost of vulnerability and lost spellcasting.
The high level and potentially transformative nature of the spell encourage creative roleplaying and dramatic storytelling opportunities.
