Description: With a guttural roar and a crackle of energy that tears through the fabric of reality, you call upon the primal power of dragons to rend the very ground itself. A fissure of molten rock erupts from beneath your chosen point, spreading outward in a 100-foot line to a maximum width of 30 feet. The earth screams with agony as molten magma boils within the fissure, engulfing its victims and reshaping the landscape itself.

Draconic Wrath: The Draconic Sundering unleashes its fury in several ways:

Fiery Fury: Each creature within the fissure must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 12d6 fire damage and is pushed 10 feet away from the center of the fissure. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and is not pushed.
Seismic Shudder: The ground around the fissure trembles violently. Each creature within 60 feet of the fissure must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature is knocked prone.
Molten Maw: The fissure creates a hazardous terrain effect. Each creature that moves through the fissure or starts its turn within it must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 7d6 fire damage and is pushed 10 feet away from the center of the fissure. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and is not pushed.
Draconic Shaping: You can shape the direction of the fissure to a limited degree. When you cast the spell, you can choose the direction in which the fissure extends from its point of origin.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 9th level or higher, the damage dice for the Fiery Fury and Molten Maw effects increase by one die size for each slot level above 8th.
