Illusion cantrip
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 60 feet
Components: V, S
Duration: 1 round
You create a brief illusion of a fantastical or nightmarish scene in the mind of one creature within range. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened or charmed by you (your choice) until the end of your next turn.
This spell allows you to manipulate the subconscious of another creature, creating a vivid and realistic impression of a place or a situation that appeals to or terrifies the target. You can use it to inspire awe, fear, love, or hate in the target, depending on your intention. You can also use it to reveal something about the target’s personality, desires, or fears, by observing its reaction to the illusion.
However, this spell also has its limitations and risks. You cannot use it to create a specific image or detail, as the illusion is based on the target’s own imagination and interpretation. You also cannot use it to harm the target physically, as the illusion is only in the target’s mind. You may also provoke a strong or unexpected response from the target, if it realizes that you are invading its dreams.
