Dwargon
Dwargon
Medium Dragon Humanoid
Dwargon are nocturnal and prefer to sleep during the day, they do not have to, but will become irritable the more days they have to remain awake during the day in a row even if they get a full rest at night.
Age. Dwargons reach adulthood at the age of 20 and they do not age after reaching adulthood. After they are 1000 years old, they will need to make Wisdom Saves DC11 to wake up out of stone form after a long rest, until eventually failed and become a permanent statue that is resistant to damage. Any Dwargon can be woken from this permanent statue state with a Wish spell.
Speed: 25 feet/ Burrow 20 feet/ Fly 15 feet Senses: Blindsight 20 feet, Darkvision 45 feet
+1 Str, +2 Con
Resistances. Poison, as well as Slashing and Piercing from nonmagical sources.
Elemental resistance: Choose either fire or cold at the end of a long rest, resistance to the element chosen until the end of your next long rest.
Magically Hardy: 1/long rest may choose to succeed a failed save rather than accept failure. May use +1/long rest at level 10 and +1/short rest at level 19.
Stoneskin: 1/long rest as per the spell. May use +1/day at level 4, level 7, level 10, level 13, level 16, and level 19. While sleeping all Dwargon turn to stone and take damage as an object, gaining a damage threshold equal to constitution ability score. Any damage taken wakes them from their sleep. While sleeping as stone they perceive nothing that happens around them and no sound or touching the stone will wake them except damage to the stone.
Heart of Fire and Stone: Cast Mold Earth, Produce Flame, and Control Flame a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus per short rest without components. Cast Stone Shape without components a number of times equal to your Con bonus per long rest. This quality also grants them advantage on all crafting, blacksmithing and jeweler checks involving shaping or otherwise working earth, clay, stones, metals, gemstones, and glass.
Fire Breath (Recharge 5-6). The dwargon exhales fire in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC (8+Proficiency Bonus+Con Bonus) Dexterity saving throw, taking 11 (3d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Damage increases by +1d6 at level 7, level 13, and level 19. Range increases by +5 feet at level 4, level 10, and level 16.
