Components: V, S
Duration: Instantaneous
You manipulate the elemental force of fire, causing a small flame to appear and disappear on an object within range. The flame does not harm the object or anything else, unless you intend it to. You can use this spell to light or snuff out a candle, a torch, or a small campfire, creating a brief flash of light and heat. Alternatively, you can use this spell to ignite or extinguish a flammable object, even if it is being worn or carried by another creature, such as a piece of cloth, a scroll, or a wooden weapon. The damage this spell deals is 1d4 fire damage, double damage dice against objects. The damage dice explode, meaning if they roll a 4 then you may roll them again adding the reroll to the 4 rolled already for total damage dealt.
This spell's damage increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4).
This spell has various applications, both practical and mischievous. You can use it to signal your allies, distract your enemies, or create a diversion. You can also use it to start or stop a fire, depending on the situation. However, you should be careful not to cause unwanted damage or attention with this spell, as some people may not appreciate your pyrotechnics.
