  Inkwell of the Mind's Eye is a spell that taps into the vast and mysterious reservoirs of the caster's imagination and intellect, creating an invisible wellspring of creativity and cunning within their mind. As you cast this spell, your thoughts begin to swim with vivid imagery and intricate patterns, your mind becoming a conduit for a cascade of arcane insights and deceptions.

  The spell bestows upon you an enhanced ability to decipher complex codes, unravel enigmatic puzzles, and craft intricate lies and stories. This mental enhancement manifests in several ways:

  Cryptic Insight: You gain advantage on Intelligence (Investigation) and Wisdom (Insight) checks related to decoding messages, understanding hidden meanings, and seeing through illusions or disguises. Artificer of Illusion: Your ability to fabricate lies and spin tales is heightened. When you make a Charisma (Deception) check to tell a lie, create a false story, or maintain a disguise, you can add your spellcasting ability modifier to the roll in addition to your Charisma modifier. However, this spell also has its perils. The flood of ideas and images can be overwhelming, and maintaining focus on reality becomes a challenge:

  Mind's Mirage: Each time you use the spell's benefit for a check, you must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 14). On a failed save, your mind becomes momentarily lost in the illusions of your own creation, causing you to be stunned for 1 round as reality and fantasy blur together. While under the influence of this spell, your perceptions of the world around you may become skewed. The mundane may seem imbued with hidden significance, and the ordinary might appear unusually vibrant or sinister, reflecting the heightened state of your imaginative faculties.

  At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the duration of the spell increases by 30 minutes for each slot level above 2nd, allowing you to sustain the heightened state of creativity and deception for longer periods.
