Runesmith

Runesmith Prerequisite: Rune Shaper Feat or Rune Carver Class Feature. Spellcasting ability.

You gain the ability to inscribe runes into items for longer durations. As your proficiency bonus increases, the length of duration extends by an order of magnitude with each increase. To use this ability, expend a spell slot when inscribing the rune to imbue and activate it as a Runesmith. Duration based on Proficiency Bonus: +2=1 week, +3=1 month, +4=1 year, +5=1 decade, +6=1 century. Each rune needs a spell slot expended for it, or if activating multiple runes you may use a higher level spell slot to activate them. You may also exceed the required spell slot level to dramatically increase the duration by multiplying the spell slot level to the duration. Additionally you gain the ability to inscribe more than one rune on any item you can inscribe runes into. Your new limit is your proficiency bonus. Items capacity to handle runes is limited by item quality.
