Salvatore's Shadowstep Symphony

Salvatore's Shadowstep Symphony
8th-level conjuration
Casting Time: 1 hour
Range: Self
Components: V, S, M (a pair of boots worn by a legendary rogue, a silver baton used by a master conductor, and a shadow essence worth at least 1,500 gp, all of which the spell consumes)
Duration: 8 hours
This spell weaves a symphony of shadows and stealth around the caster, granting them unparalleled prowess in moving unseen and unheard. Upon casting, the caster becomes one with the shadows, gaining the ability to step through them as if they were portals, appearing and disappearing at will within a range of 500 feet.
For the duration of the spell, the caster can use a bonus action on each of their turns to teleport from one shadow to another within range. In addition to this mobility, the spell grants the caster advantage on all Dexterity (Stealth) checks and makes them undetectable by divination spells and scrying sensors. The caster can also pass through solid objects as long as they end their movement in an unoccupied space.
The true power of this spell lies in its crescendo - once during the spell’s duration, the caster can choose to perform a “Shadow Symphony.” This powerful action allows the caster to summon shadow duplicates of themselves, creating a maximum of four duplicates. These duplicates can perform tasks, attack, and distract enemies but vanish after taking any damage.
  Classes: Wizard, Bard
Subclasses: Shadow Sorcerer, Trickery Cleric
Note: This spell is not available in the SRD but can be integrated into homebrew campaigns for high-level play. It is recommended for settings with a strong emphasis on stealth, subterfuge, and the interplay between light and darkness.
