Description: With a whispered chant and a wisp of smoke swirling around you, you blur the lines between worlds. Your corporeal form shimmers and fades, transitioning into a spectral entity. You have entered the Spiritwalk, becoming one with the unseen realm.
Spiritform: While under the effects of this spell, you gain the following benefits:
Ethereal Passage: You can move through walls, doors, and other solid objects as if they were not there. You cannot pass through a creature or a magical barrier.
Unseen Form: You are invisible to creatures made of flesh and blood. However, creatures with special abilities, such as tremorsense or truesight, can still perceive you. This also grants your melee and natural attacks the ability to strike ephemeral creatures and spirits whether on the material or near ethereal plane for the spells duration.
Whisper with the Shadows: You can communicate telepathically with any willing creature within 60 feet of you that can hear or see you.
Spirit Sight: You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks to sense the presence of spirits and undead within 120 feet of you. In addition you may use a bonus action to focus your vision into the near-ethereal for a number of rounds equal to your Spellcasting Attack Bonus + 1d10 at a time, which allows you to see spirits and creatures in the near ethereal.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, you gain the following additional benefits for each slot level above 2nd:
3rd level: When you take the Attack action while in Spiritwalk, using your spectral form to deliver unarmed strikes or weapon attacks deal an additional +1d4 force damage for each spell slot level used above 2nd.
4th level: You can pass through a hostile creature as if you were ethereal. The creature does not react to your passage unless it has tremorsense or truesight.
5th level: You can possess a Small or Medium object while in Spiritwalk. While possessing an object, you can move it as if it were your body and use its senses. You cannot attack or cast spells while possessing an object.
