With a swift motion, you unleash a void-infused melee attack at a creature within range. As part of the action used to cast this spell, target a creature within range; you must make a melee attack against that creature. If successful, you may hit the creature as if it were within the weapon's range.

Higher Levels: The spell's damage increases as you gain levels. At 5th level, the melee attack deals an extra 1d8 force damage to the target. The damage roll increases by 1d8 at 11th level and 17th level.
