Voidwhisper's Veil is an enigmatic spell that cloaks the caster and their allies in a shroud of illusions drawn from the void itself. Upon casting, the caster becomes the epicenter of a 30-foot radius sphere of shifting shadows and whispers.
This veil of illusion renders the caster and any allies within the sphere invisible to both sight and sound. Creatures outside the sphere cannot see or hear anything occurring within it, as the veil distorts and absorbs light and sound.
The spell provides more than mere invisibility. It also creates false images and sounds outside the sphere, mimicking the movements and noises of the caster and their allies. These illusions are under the caster's control and can be moved up to 60 feet away from the sphere's edge, further disorienting and misleading enemies.
Additionally, once during the spell’s duration, the caster can utilize a “Whisper from the Void.” This feature allows the caster to project a potent illusionary duplicate of themselves or an ally anywhere within 120 feet. This duplicate can interact with the environment, speak, and even cast non-damaging spells as if it were real or a result of the Clone spell. The duplicate lasts for up to 1 minute, after which it dissipates into shadows and whispers.
