Whispering Citadel

Whispering Citadel Level 7 Conjuration Casting Time: 1 minute
  Range: 100 feet
Components: V, S, M (a handful of spirit dust infused with moonlight and a spectral key)
  Duration: 1 hour (concentration)
Description: With a guttural chant and a flourish of the spectral key, you tear open the fabric of reality, summoning a bastion of ethereal power from the spirit realm. A shimmering fortress of swirling mist materializes at the chosen point within range, crackling with energy and echoing with whispers of unseen guardians.
Manifestation: The Whispering Citadel takes the form of a towering structure, resembling a mystical keep, ancient temple, or ethereal palace, depending on your intent and the energies of the surrounding area. This citadel offers the following benefits:
Impenetrable Sanctuary: The citadel provides a refuge from both physical and magical harm. Any creature within its walls gains resistance to non-magical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage, as well as advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. Additionally, hostile creatures cannot teleport or pass through the walls of the citadel, unless they possess exceptional abilities granting them passage through ethereal realms.
Echoes of the Guardians: From the swirling mist, spectral warriors emerge, serving as your loyal defenders. The number and type of guardians depend on the chosen terrain where the citadel is summoned:
Plains: 4 spectral horsemen armed with spectral lances. Forest: 6 spectral hunters wielding ethereal bows and daggers. Mountains: 3 spectral golems of stone and mist, immune to non-magical weapons. Ruins: 5 spectral sentinels wielding spirit-forged blades and shields. These guardians act as your allies for the duration of the spell, obeying your commands and attacking your enemies with chilling might.
Passage to the Unseen: The citadel serves as a gateway between the material plane and the spirit realm. Any willing creature within the citadel can use it to teleport to a predetermined location within the spirit realm that you are familiar with, spending 1 minute exploring its ethereal landscapes and seeking knowledge or guidance from the spirits that reside there. Upon exiting the citadel, they return to the material plane with any insights they have gained. At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher, the resistance to non-magical damage and the advantage on saving throws within the citadel increase by 1 for each slot level above 7th. Additionally, you can choose two different types of terrain when summoning the citadel, creating a fortress with a mix of guardians from each chosen environment.
Classes: Bard, College of Whispers Bard, Cleric, Druid, Ranger, Spirit Shaman (homebrew class), Warlock (Pact of the Chain)
Lore: Whispered amongst those who walk the border between worlds, the Whispering Citadel embodies the pinnacle of conjuration magic, drawing upon the very essence of the spirit realm to create an impregnable fortress and a gateway to the unseen. This spell offers unparalleled defensive power, formidable allies, and even the opportunity to delve into the mysteries of the beyond, making it a potent tool for explorers, defenders, and those who seek the secrets hidden within the whispers of the spirit world.
  Notes:
This spell provides robust defensive, offensive, and exploration options. The choice of terrain creates tactical flexibility, offering different types of guardians and unique opportunities for roleplaying encounters. The upcasting potential strengthens the defensive benefits and allows for a blend of guardian types, increasing the citadel's versatility. The mystical and lore-rich nature of the spell encourages creative descriptions, tactical decision-making, and exploration of the spirit realm's hidden landscapes and secrets.
