K4-16 Toħvec Gems and Jewelry Smithy (Toth-vek)

Written by Adsmalley

This two-story wood building with a tile roof facing the market square has a large central hearth. It was once used as a tavern, but had been modified a couple of decades back so that the hearth now serves as a forge for smithing fine metals for making jewelry. The windows and door have all had bars added to them to ensure that no one can sneak in through them (including the windows on the second floor.   It is owned and operated by Tynv Toħvec and his wife Casmina Toħvec, who are both accomplished jewelers, in addition to Casmina being very skilled at gem-cutting. They have two children in their teens who also work in the shop and are learning the trade to continue the family business.   The upper level serves as their spacious living quarters, while the lower level is their shop.   Floor plans for this establisment will follow when time permits to scan them in and get them uploaded.   Return to Channel Cities, Martelain, or the K4 Merchant’s Square District of Martelain.
