A very large central hearth serves as the heart of this large two-story stone building with a slate roof. The hearth is set up with equipment for glassblowing and for making plate-glass panes for windows. It is owned and operated by Arbey Brusiel, who also employs a few of the neighborhoods youth and young adults who are willing to work under the sweltering heat of the hearth/furnace needed to create glass from sand.
