K4-7 Olakda Lock & Hinge Smithy

Written by Adsmalley

This fairly-large building faces the wall of K4-3 Garden of Lothien, is of stone construction with a tile roof as is expected for any type of business that operates a smithy/forge within its walls. It is two stories tall, with the upper floor being living quarters for the owner, Login Olakda, as well as some of his workers. The main floor contains his locksmith shop and forge used for making such devices as well as hinges. But due to the size of his operation, a moderate amount of the main floor is empty and unused.   Login Olakda is an elderly man who is starting to have health problems, with a constant cough and having a difficult time getting around. However, his skill with fine-detailed smithy work to create intricate and difficult to pick locks, as well as producing keys and nearly flawless hinges is well known around the Merchant’s Square district of Martelain.   He has three different apprentices working for him (since he has never had any children of his own), with the most promising and likely heir to shop being a young woman of sturdy build and an eye for detail named Viola Taran.   Floor plans for this establisment will follow when time permits to scan them in and get them uploaded.   Return to Channel Cities, Martelain, or the K4 Merchant’s Square District of Martelain.
