K4-75 Cathban Basket & Thatch Works

Written by Adsmalley

This huge two-story building used to serve as a cartwright and wainwright shop. But with the mass-exodus from Martelain after the Northern Empire’s seizure of the city, it went out of business and sat empty for a couple of decades. Then when Cathban’s father passed away, his wife, Beurga suggested that they move their basket weaving and roof thatching business located in the next building to the north, into this larger building, in case Martelain ever recovers.   So now the front quarter of the ground floor is used as their basket weaving business and the rear three-quarters of the building is used to store reeds that they buy during harvest season. Most of the upper floor is empty, except for the very front part overing the street, which the owners, Cathban Thatcher and his wife Beurga Thatcher use as their living quarters.   Floor plans for this establisment will follow when time permits to scan them in and get them uploaded.   Return to Channel Cities, Martelain, or the K4 Merchant’s Square District of Martelain.
