K4-76 Actoni's Mighty Fine Grub and Drink

Written by Adsmalley

Rumors are somewhat common in this part of the city about the owner of this establishment, Actoni Lieberhard, once being a successful adventurer and mercenary, who spent a fair amount of time in the haunted the ruins of the ancient Forbidden Plains of the Ruglund Empire, and that she may be a good source of information for anyone who is willing to risk their life to travel there and brave the horrors of those distant western lands.
This structure barley qualifies as a building, due to the main level being open on the street side and the upper level supported by cut and tightly fitted square stone-block columns. The large cooking hearth at the south-west corner of the building is also open to the rest of main floor instead of being separated as is the case in most food serving establishments. The upper level serves as the living quarters of the owner, Actoni Lieberhard, who is a middle-aged woman who has lived an exciting life, but who has been suffering from poor health in recent years. There are also a couple of small tenements that she leases out, usually by the week. The food and drink served here tends to be a pretty good quality at reasonably fair prices.   Actoni often tells tales of his youth, when she spent time as a mercenary, living an adventurous life and seeing many strange places and distant lands. However, after an encounter that went poorly at an ancient and ruined temple far to the west, his health has deteriorated. If asked about it, she will only say that the Forbidden Lands of the ancient Ruglund Empire are haunted and dangerous.   Floor plans for this establisment will follow when time permits to scan them in and get them uploaded.   Return to Channel Cities, Martelain, or the K4 Merchant’s Square District of Martelain.
