Turin is rumored to be one of the wealthiest merchants in the Channel Cities and probably in the entire World of Ærnth. His social and economic connections are very extensive and are spread around the world (and if rumors are accurate, even beyond the bounds of Ærnth. Due to being an elf of unknown and undeterminable age, he seems to have vast and often times intimate knowledge and information about many places and even about rare commodities.
When he is in public, he usually has at least two bodyguards, often times more. But has been known to be seen on odd occasions by himself in out of the way places where he would not be expected to ever visit. He appears to be extremely observant and has very wise looking eyes, as if he has seen the world, many times over.
His dress varies from exceptional quality silk pants and shirts and fine leather boots, to occasionally being seen in mundane wool or linen clothing of unremarkable design.
