Vandis Barber

Vandis owns the J3-33 Swan Barber/Apothecary. She recently inherited this business from her mother and father, who both died after they tried to help some travelers who had a strange skin-rotting sickness. She was away when it happened, traveling to some western lands to learn about herbs from that region. When she returned about 3 years ago, her father had already passed away about a week earlier and her mother was on her death-bed, while the travelers who her parents had been trying to help had also all passed away. Her mother warned her to stay away for a few days, but she tried to help her mother but at least was very careful to minimize her risk of catching the disease by keeping her mouth and nose covered by a wet cloth (which she learned from a Druid she had met in the west) and by washing with strong alcohol (also learned from the Druid). She ended up spending a month scrubbing down the entire interior of the shop and thier living quarters above the shop after her mother passed before she moved back in and started the business back up.
