Avandra is the Goddess of Trade, Positive Change, and - to some degree - Luck. She is primarily worshiped by traders, travelers and bards.

Avandra may favour you today, but tomorrow, when your purse strings stay taught despite witnessing adversity, she will lighten your load for the worse. For followers of this god, charity brings fortune.

Personal history

Avandra was said to be a gypsy princess who showed great charity to a hermit one dark and stormy night. She gave him shelter in his caravan and gave up her own meal to feed the poor wretch. Unbeknownst to her, the hermit was Bahamut in disguise. She inadvertently restored his faith in humanity, for he had been shunned by all who past him on the road. As a reward, Bahamut granted Avandra the blessing of Ascension upon her death so that she may reward those who show the same kindness.
