Many powerful entities rule in the Outer Realms - a place so far removed from our existence, that not even the gods have dominion over these creatures. Notable Old Ones include:

• Cetus, the Sleeper
• Cthulhu, the Dead Dreamer
• Eldest, the First Aboleth
• Father Llymic, the Bearer of Outer Thoughts
• Hadar, the Great Devourer
• Hastur, the King in Yellow
• Pandorym, the Purple Prince
• Ragnorra, the Mother of Monsters
• Sertrous, the First Hellion
• Tharizdun, the Chained Destroyer
• Zargon, the Dissolving Deceiver

It is said that to know an Old One, is to know madness. Not much is known about these entities. Some believe that they are so alien that no mortal mind can comprehend them. Be that as it may, sometimes, these beings make their influence on the Material Plane known.
