"What do you think of the declaration of war out West?"
"Oh, they've finally gotten around to killing each other, have they?"
— Erdan reporter asking someone on the street about the Western War
The Western War has developed a reputation as being the direct result of petty squabbling between the leaders of a Post-Cataclysm Chardovil West. While the leaders of Chardovil East are also entrenched in their own assortment of bloody disagreements, the citizens of these nations hold Chardovil West with an extra degree of amusement.   Tensions between the nations of Ashijan, Albyn, and Vochal have run deep, even before the Cataclysm destroyed the continent. Many who lived through it hoped that the tragedy would force the leaders to work together to rebuild, but once hierarchies were established and society was comfortably rebuilt, the first shot was fired.

The Conflict

Resolution

Altraxian leader Zeri Jithon approached each warring nation independently, offering Altraxia's support in their efforts, provided the nation became an Altraxian state. With all three major players' resources dwindling, they all reluctantly agreed.

Once the nations were all under the rule of Altraxia, Zeri proceeded to draft peace treaties on behalf of the former rulers and used his own signature, as President of Altraxia, to declare the war over and sent couriers to deliver orders for soldiers to return home.
