Nadyra Armeros-Yvrey (He/Him)

Resurrected by Ilyxxa Gethra roughly 150 years after the first phase of the Astral War, Nadyra Armeros bore no memory of his past or his involvment during the Astral War. Ilyxxa, unsure of what to do or call the confused changeling, resorted to the badge that remained on his attire when she found him-- the Blue Star insignia, though worn and faded with time.

Despite its age, the insignia was still recognizeable as that of the Blue Star from ages past.

Well-versed in the history of Chardovil West and what records and testimony survived The Cataclysm, Ilyxxa discerned that the last Blue Star recorded before the collapse of the Infernal Eye Network must've been one Nadyra Yvrey.

Nadyra, however, was not keen on associating himself with House Yvrey, once their position of power across the newly formed Altraxian Empire that had united Ashijan, Vochal, Obonjon, and Albyn under one banner had been explained.

Ilyxxa tried to argue that, should be truly be Nadyra Yvrey, torn from his time and reborn, his sister Caeda Yvrey would likely wish to see him again. He disagreed, claiming that she's had one hundred fifty years to mourn, and it would be ill-advised to tear open old scars, especially if their hunch about his identity proved wrong.
You take a seat on the dock beside your friend and he gives you a smile to acknowledge your presence in lieu of words, tilting his head upward as the cool, salty breeze from the ocean slides across his face. Through all of your trials together, through the laughter and the tears, you find you cannot recall the last time you saw the man appear ...happy. At peace, despite the Soul Brand pulsing agrily across his face and neck, a constant reminder of your limited time together."

You sit in silence, for a time, watching the first orange streaks of morning grace the sky as the sun crests the horizon. He breaks it with a deep, relaxed breath, his gaze fixing onto the canvas of light and color laid out before you.

"You know, my friend, for the first time in my life... I do not feel out of place. Out of time. Thank you, for sharing this moment with me."

In a Name

Nadyra choose to drop the "Yvrey" from his name and instead adopted the surname "Armeros" instead. Later though, after reuniting with Caeda and much consideration, he would go on to hyphenate it Armeros-Yvrey, to acknowledge his former life while refusing to give us his new one.

Soul-to-Soul

Unlike his counterpart in Ascension, Nadyra Armeros is not a Voidwalker and has his soul. However, this has resulted in the God of Death that fought in the Astral War to lay dormant, and his Tether to be weak and frayed.

The combination of a frayed Tether and the Soul Brand from Ereshikal that he acquired upon resurrecting, has resulted in Armeros being particularly susceptible to divine manipulation and possession to be used as an unwilling "vessel."
