Elemental Planes

Located as overlaps of Dreaming and Astral the planes manifest True Elemental forms.

Geography

Air:  Everything is vapor and gas.  Elementals are vortices and vapor forms. Layers exist of different gases.  Hydrogen-helium atmosphere, in descending order of altitude, a layer of ammonia clouds, a layer of ammonium hydrogen sulfide clouds, and a layer of water clouds. Co2 and Nitrogen.  It is a torus shape with central gravity where the gas layers become a thick liquid like quality.  Most of the plane is toxic to mortal creatures. Light is emergent from the Astral at all levels and omnidirectional.
Fire: Everything is heat and flame/ plasma.  The beings are vortices of flame.  There is no distinct material, just plasma of purple, blue, red, orange, yellow. Motion is omnidirectional and Astral light is obliterated by the glow of the Fire plane.  There is no air or gas.
Earth:  This realm is dark stratified material loamy, soil and sand down to rocks, and a liquid metal deep layer.  The elementals treat the whole terrain as water.  There is no air and caverns and crystals form in vaccuum.
Water: This plane is a fluidic that gets colder the deeper one goes until a core of ices is found. The whole is suffused with pale blue light from the astral.

The Plane of fire may be a sphere surrounding the plane of Air, that sits above water and finally goes to Earth.  The Material plane is the realm of wood and life.

Fauna & Flora

The Elemental realms are torn and ripple with wild power - currents, flows, eruptions.  They are made of the elemental aspects worn as spirit forms.  The elemental materials flow via small cracks to the material realm.  The denizens consist of small swarms, and larger forms to the giant "rulers" as supreme totems of the elements.  Smaller forms may be fed upon by larger or may evolve to asend.
