The Two Moons
The Moons.
One is light, silvery-blue white with marks or pores like an egg. The other darker, with the shape of a creature on one face. The moons spin around a common point between them while also changing positions day by day in the sky. They exist in the crystalline sphere closest to the mortal world and seem, with the Sun, the most interested and involved of the Celestial Objects.
The Moons shine, change phase and go dark over all the world. The multitude of cultures have their myths, legends and deities related to them. They also know the Moons speak to the Tides and their places in the sky designate Monthly points for ritual and season, and their positions to one another count the days.
The Skinchangers say that they are the Children of the Moons, birthed from union of the Beast Moon and the White Moon as the herders, hunters and guides of flesh and spirit, tasked with upholding the structure of the cycles. Their sires being the rulers of Fate.
Church of Lyr
The in the Inx region is the Church of Lyr, also called the Church of Man. For the Church the Moons are Primordial Beings. Mahaurat, sister to Gaia and Patron of Secrets and Luck, Goddess of the Wild, animals and hunters; and Turl, the Steward of the House of the Sun. They are set to watch over Gaia, who is wayward and impulsive and had after giving birth to humans with the Father Sun, had been seduced by a Primordial Called the Red God and birthed monsters and the Abominations ( Fae, and Centaurs) in mockery of Humans and to take the world from the Chosen. Mahuarat tries to distract and block Turl, enabling her Sister's flirtations while looking out for Father Sun. Turl is keeping watch looking side to side into the dark for the Red God or other suitors. They spin around with changing faces, hiding and blocking each other in dance.
Olia and Church of Powers.
To the Animists like the Imperial region Olia people or the Inx Church of the Powers, the Moons are Archon Spirits of the Celestial Court who's progression across the sky from Lodge to Lodge carries the authority of the Month's dominions and the march of the Seasons. One is light, determined stepwise change. The other dark and fickle chance. Both are mighty spirits of change, chance and destiny.
Ghenid
The Ghenid are an aggressive race similar to a bipedal hyena in appearance. They appear widespread across the world. Their Demon Queen Goddess rules from the Underworld. Death and the Eternal Afterlife are a major concern. For them, the glowing Sun is a fire in the sky that dies each night, transverses the Underworld sky in it's Ghost form, and is reborn and launches into the sky the next day. The moons are the Blind Eyes of the Sky. The eyes watch but can not see. The Sky is carelessly pulled by the Sun's leaping across the world only to crash, kicking up fire, dust and storm on impact on the far side. The dying of the light shows the spotted hide of the Sky dotted with stars. The next morning the Ghost Sun bursts from below and takes flight and flame once more. The Underworld sky is black and no eyes look upon the Underworld from above, except the ghost sun transversing from one side to the other each Night.
The Children of Bovenlesh
Followers of this Inx Region faith say All Things are Bovenlesh, which is the world. Golden Pafuine (Sun/ Light) is the entity of Fire, Aki-anuki (Light moon) is Cold and Ice, and sibling Dolveren (dark moon) is Shadow and Breath, and these foster Bovenlesh which has aspects of the Fire, the Water and ice, the breath of Air, and it's body of Earth. These feed the aspect of Wood, which is life. Life itself generates two great forces - Fejzal (Good, Peace, Life, Love and Nurture) and Urglar (Destruction, Death, Hate, Misery and Fury) which are part of all but are built and grow by acts of one or the other.

Geography
The Light Moon is typically counted the colder, though more illuminated. The surface is typically seen as like a snow covered mountain but with pits, valleys or ice covered wells, and this is confirmed with the use of glass lenses. It is not known if creatures or only spirits may be found there.
The Dark Moon is marked - some say with a face, others affirm it is a shape a beast. No other features can be seen with a glass and it is believed to be shrouded in dark vapors or fumes which flow over low surfaces. Some philosophers and mystics who deal with spirits have claimed that this is the Underworld or one of the Hells of Corrupted spirits of Toxin and smokes.

Celestial Spheres cover the Mortal World of Charron, well above the clouds and the tops of the highest mountains, though some claim access via mountains at the edge of the world. It is believed by scholars and many residents of the Imperial Inner Sea region that a huge piece of the lowest sphere fell to earth at the end of the Demon Age, shattering the ground and creating the crater of the Inner Sea and the circles of mountains around it. It is also said that this piece was Corrupted and damaged and was rejected because of that. The piece of sphere fractured and exploded, and those parts were thrown out and caught in the fires and lava, crushed, buried, pushed up, fractioned and mixed in the Great Tumult and are now the substance of the Arcane Crystals.
You might think that the flying creatures like Dragons would know more about the spheres. And indeed they may, but lore and knowledge are treasures that Dragons hoard like gold and jewels. The Spirits and Gods also likely know more, but they also keep their secrets tight. Beyond this, the Spirit Moons, the Primordial Sisters, or the Mad eyes of the Mother of the Night who dwell in the first sphere are all different, similar but distinct, or maybe aspects of a single entity or reflections of how this or these entities are perceived. Was it they who created and placed the spheres? Was it ordered by the Sun Primordial? The Sun God? The Sun luminous High Spirit? Or placed by the Primal Goddess of the world? Surely one or more must know. Or maybe they don't and tell lies, fables and myths shared as tales by the spirits, gods and Primal beings that formed the world from the Void Rift and it's first child, Chaos.
What is known is that the Spheres are in three layers which house the Moons, Sun, stars and other objects of the heavens. The Stars are in the farthest layer. Between them are wandering stars, comets and nebulous gasses and moving lights. Sun and Moons are in the last, closest to the world. These spheres are mirrored and reflected in the dimensions - as the membrane between the Realms that keeps one from another and in the parts of these realms: the fringe that overlaps the Mortal world; the Near Mists of the Dreaming, the Deep Mists and the Ether. The Umbra spirit realm, the Periumbra which is the Underworld and it's darkest heart, the Atumbra in the pit of Oblivion. The Close Astral Reflection, The High Astral, and the Realms of Light where the Gods make their domains.
