Titans of Damamalia

Oh woe be upon us. We are acursed and plagued by the demons that became our Kejihin. When the necros consumed us, many fled. And to our horror Tiajasei warriors came after us, fearless in their unliving walking death. And death they brought. Anywhere we gathered or settled. Even in the nations of our one time enemies, the Taurien.
Not even when the Tiajasei Balond brought a silvered weapon, the Golattos Parjaditta ( The Dread Bane or Doom of Dread) and destroyed the High Priest King, the Iliremor Kejihin. Balond was gravely wounded and fled, the unliving feasting on his blood, hiding the Golattos Parjaditta for a future hero. Now the other Kejihin and their Eibaitios became their own kingdoms of the unliving. All the Jalfa and the courts feeding on the remaining Onorehei (commoners). and Penshurei (makers/ crafts persons), for the dead needed no new makings.
Now here, we are a dying people, pursued by death of our own creation and our unliving priest-kings.
"Lament of Damamalia" by Pjurat Bvag, survivor of the the fall of Damamalia, Taurian Republics. T:3947

Damamilia before the Fall was a great and powerful nation. It's people industrious and magically gifted. But they were drawn to greater power in the duels of leadership. The Priest-Kings found the Necros magics and transformed themselves and their courts into Unliving things and drained the nation, the people and the very land of life. A great many fled- scattering to any place that would take them. And to their horror- and to that of their hosts- undead warriors pursued them and either took them back to the Temples of the Priest-Kings of Damamilla or slew them and any who tried to protect them.  Then came the The Blood Plague that many Centaurs blamed on the Damamalians.

The Necros came from a demonic pact and a cult. The cult leader became an empty shell inhabited by the demon as the High Priest-king. The cult members became the lesser Priest-kings, the Kejihin. They then formed their own cults with the Eibaitios, Warrior Priests, the Tiajasei warrior/ solders and the Jalfa, members of the court and priesthood. They swore their people to the Necros and the demons behind it for eternal unlife.

Culture and cultural heritage

Whatever city, town or village the Damamalians fled to, the undead hunters found them. The  Blood Plague struck on the heels of the Damalian refugees and caused them to flee the Taurien cities, towns and even villages.  The only safety was fleeing to isolation in the wilderness and no contact with any outsider. The new tradition was just one or two families banded together. These scattered small groups in isolation lost the skills and resources of nations. Their scrolls and books decayed generation by generation, gone within a few centuries. Metal work without ores and fire antiplex vanished. All the devices and technology decayed, along with the knowledge of making and using it. The once proud Damamalians over three centuries became Titans. The language of Damamillian - Titanic became forgotten.
